I promised I would return to the theme of Combe Farm, and the second part of the essay by Barbara Ludlow at some point, but I trek over Westerdale Road on Saturday made me think of that before boarding the Victoria Combe let me tell you a little piece of place secretly still there - and not random passer would know. ..
Take a look at the image above. That house Westerdale Road, which is slightly different from the rest of the way that it has clearly got a little 'shop-y - and the port side of the house did not have routine garage. It says "Greenwich Village", and if I remember, at one point was a workshop of stained glass. I have no idea whether it is still.
But look on the left side of the image. In the alley between the two places, there is another building, away, situated between Westerdale Road police station. It is impossible to get a look very good because it is a path at any time.
